Presentation title
Hybrid magnetic nanoparticles: from synthesis to applications
Gabriel Lavorato obtained his Engineering Sciences Ph.D. degree in 2016 at the Balseiro Institute, National University of Cuyo, Argentina. Following a postdoctoral position at the Brazilian Center for Research in Physics and a Fulbright Visiting Scientist Scholarship at the University of South Florida, in 2018 he joined the National Scientific and Technical Research Council and National University of La Plata as Assistant Researcher. He was awarded the “Instituto Sábato” Prize in 2018 for his contribution to the field of Materials Science and Technology, and his current research is focused on the physical chemistry of metal oxide hybrid nanostructures and their technological applications.
